A small library is added to the long-standing parc of clay-pavillions built by generations of students and Japanese Masters of "Sakan" (Art of Plastering) over a period of 40 years.
The walls of the pavillion, a composition of wood, bambus and cord are filled with clay, covered in clayplaster and shaped into different textured surfaces.
Intercontinental exchange and a great learning experience working with Japanese plasterers to make the surfaces out of clay.
Summer Workshop held at the RWTH Aachen University under the guidence of Manfred Speidel.
