Rethinking a virtual setting for a statue. Once the relief of the Grimani altar was made at the Archeological Museum in Venice, it was necessary to think about a museum space in which to place the virtual model of the statue. The museum environment was modeled by referring to a photograph by N. Hatakeyama of the Chichu Art Museum.
The result is a composition of contrasts: a modular museum like the one comoposed by concrete slabs, which could be considered Apollonian, and the sinuosity of the curves shaping the Ara Grimani bas-reliefs, which could be called Dionysian.
